  Tennis Courts
We offer the total Tennis Court package from design and set-out, to drawing plans and obtaining council permits where required, we handle tree removal, earthworks, drainage, fencing, lighting, landscaping, court accessories, and finish up with a site clean leaving your new court ready to play.

All of our work complies with the Dept of Infrastructure "code of practice" for tennis court development and has specific warranties on workmanship and materials.

Budget Tennis Courts allow you to choose from various materials and gives you access to a large number of court accessories.

Court Surfaces Typical surfaces include synthetic grass, painted acrylic, granitic sand or asphalt surfaces.
Earthworks We use heavy machinery with state of the art "On Board" laser levelling equipment.
Court Sizes Tennis courts are usually constructed in one of three common sizes.
Court Drainage Proper drainage is an essential part of a court.
Court Fencing Fences are usually constructed using black PVC coated mesh and posts.
Court Lighting Lighting is a valuable addition to any tennis court and we have a range of lights to suit any court.
Court Accessories We have a range of tennis accessories available that can be incorporated with your tennis court.

 


Court Surfaces

We have several court surfaces that you can choose from.
All courts are laser levelled for an even finish and to ensure the best possible drainage.
 
Synthetic Grass on a concrete slab. Synthetic Grass is available in various colours and grades from light domestic to heavy commercial. The base can be either crushed rock or a concrete slab. The synthetic grass is made in Australia and comes with a written warranty from the manufacturer. Samples available on request. We only use the very finest synthetic grass products that are available.

Granitic Sand

Granitic Sand. Note the concrete edge beam around the perimeter & white PVC lines nailed down. Plays like a red porous court and requires bagging after play. (Click the photo for larger image)

Earthworks

We use heavy machinery with state of the art "On Board" laser levelling equipment to excavate the tennis court site.
The heavy machines also give very good compaction to filled areas

Court Sizes

Courts can be constructed to basically any size, but the three most common sizes are 15.5M x 30M, 16.5M x 33M and 17M x 35M
Multi-Court construction is also available.

 


Court Drainage

Every "Budget Tennis Court" has a rainwater collection pit in the low corner and a 1% fall. This pit can be connected to the local storm water drainage system or soak pits.
Cut Off Drain. In poor drainage areas, we install a sub soil cut off drain on the outside of the court for moisture control.  (Click the photo for larger image)

Court Fencing

Fences are usually constructed using black PVC coated mesh and posts. Black top rails and draw curtains are also available.

Court Lighting

Lighting is a valuable addition to any tennis court and we have a range of lights to suit any court.
Extreme Cut Off Lights. The special reflector design of these lights offer precise control of spill light whilst maintaining a high level of illumination to the playing area. light2.jpg (7391 bytes)
light1.jpg (6745 bytes) ST1C. The ST1C light has been designed specifically for residential tennis courts because it reduces spill light and glare outside of the court to an absolute minimum. (Down to 3 lux, 3 metres from the court).
Configuration. Lights are usually installed in either 4 or 6 light configurations as shown in the diagram. light3.jpg (5373 bytes)
